Human Computer Interaction

Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is the name of the broader discipline that encompasses such concerns as Usability, User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, Service Design, Interaction Design (IxD) and many neighbouring domains of knowledge that specialise in understanding how the interaction between people (users of the system) and software/devices/processes (generically referred to as the system) can be improved with regards to efficiency, effectivenss and satisfaction. This Masters of Interaction Design and Electronic Arts (M.IDEA) course for postgrads is no longer offered. =(
