There is more for us to cover in developing an understanding of the eye and the ways perception can lead us to believe we are seeing things that are not actually occurring. In the next Module: Colour Perception, we will cover colour constancy and how colour vision is also susceptible to illusion. And to end on no trivial note, a reflection on how something as small as colour perception, sometimes makes for very significant conversation;
" I lived in a country where I couldn't live where I wanted to live. I lived in a country where I couldn't go where I wanted to eat. I lived in a country where I couldn't get a job, except for those put aside for people of my colour or caste. " Sidney POITIER . 2000
I hope this series is already demonstrating to you all the power of (mis)perception.
